Q. How can I tell the difference between vinyl & leather ?
A. Vinyl has a repeating pattern ( man made). Leather is a " natural" product, its pattern will be less consistant and a bit sporadic with its graining (pattern). Vinyl often has foam or some type of backing attached to it as well.
Q. How long do repairs take ?
A. The majority of repairs take between 1 & 3 hours to complete.
Q. Will Seat Medic fix my item at home or at my place of business?
A. Absolutely !
Q. What is the best way to get a quote for a repair job?
A. Call me, then send some high quality pictures ( taken in good light) via text or email.
Q. Can Seat Medic match any colour ?
A. Almost every colour can be reproduced.
Q. Can my boat seat be repaired while in the water ?
A. Yes, If you have power at your dock and it is a safe work environment, seats can usually be removed for repairs as well.
Q. Are the repairs permanent ?
A. Yes, repairs are permanent after they have fully cured ( approx 24 hrs.)
Q. Can stains be repaired ?
A. Usually if a colour match can be accomplished.
Q. What if my seam is torn ?
A. You may need an upholsterer, but call me. A solution may be available.
Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
A. Seat Medic accepts Visa, MasterCard & cash. If you are a commercial business we can invoice you for payment via company cheque.
